As the warmth of spring blankets Glastonbury, CT, my excitement for the season ahead grows every day, and I can't wait to share some fantastic activities that embody the spirit of this vibrant town. Here's a list of a few springtime wonders that I've personally enjoyed and recommend:

  1. Family Fun at Riverfront Park: Kicking off the season with my family at Riverfront Park is something we look forward to every year. The kids have a blast exploring the playground, and we try to take a walk along the Connecticut River. It's also a perfect spot for a relaxing family picnic amidst the blossoming greenery.

  2. Pet-Friendly Hike at Cotton Hollow Preserve: Being a pet owner, I discovered the joy of a pet-friendly hike at Cotton Hollow Preserve last year. Surrounded by nature's beauty, my Golden Retriever "Birdie" and I immersed ourselves in the sights and sounds of spring.

  3. An Afternoon Outside at Hops on the Hill: For outdoor enthusiasts - and beer lovers (!!!) - an afternoon at Hops on the Hill is a must. Anytime I can enjoyed local brews in a vibrant atmosphere is an ideal day especially when soaking up the sun and the lively energy of the season.

  4. Take a Stroll Along Main St: Exploring Glastonbury's Main Street is a personal favorite. I love taking a leisurely stroll, discovering unique finds in local small businesses, and enjoying the charm of the community.

  5. A Romantic Evening at 2 Hopewell: Recently, Amanda and I savored the unparalleled food at 2 Hopewell. Being able to sit outdoors adds a touch of magic to the night, creating a memorable atmosphere for a delightful meal.

I hope you have as much fun as I do experiencing all that spring offers in Glastonbury. From family-friendly fun to pet-friendly adventures, outdoor escapades, and moments of romance, this is going to be a great season.
